SparrowTalk SMS — Privacy Policy

1. Service description

SparrowTalk SMS is a separate application from SparrowTalk voice calling. It lets registered users purchase temporary virtual phone numbers and receive SMS verification codes for online account verification. This app does not provide VoIP calling.

2. Data we collect

• Account email and password (hashed on server)
• Wallet balance and purchase history
• SMS order metadata (country, service, phone number, verification status)
• Google Play purchase tokens for in-app top-ups (processed for billing verification)
• Basic device and app usage data for fraud prevention

3. How we use data

We use your data to create and manage your account, process wallet top-ups, fulfill SMS number orders, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

4. Third parties

Virtual numbers are sourced through our telecom partner API. Google Play processes in-app payments. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data location

Account and order data are stored on Sparrow SMS backend servers. API endpoint: the current SMS host at /smsapi/.

6. Retention & deletion

We retain account and transaction records while your account is active and as required for billing and legal compliance. You may request account deletion at the link below.

SparrowTalk SMS is not intended for children under 13.
